You Are Not In Control (And Why This Is Great News) | Elliott Hulse

For much of our lives, we may believe that success depends on setting the right goals, making the right plans, and working hard enough to create the future we want. But what if this gives us too much credit? 🙂 Elliott Hulse shares a powerful message about the control we really have in our lives, rooted in lessons learned from his father’s tough love and wisdom.

Elliott Hulse is a strength coach, former strongman competitor, entrepreneur, and online mentor known for helping men pursue greater physical strength, personal discipline, and purposeful living. Through his long-running YouTube work, coaching, events, and educational programs, he explores fitness, muscle building, leadership, character development, bioenergetics, emotional integration, and spiritual growth. Drawing on lived experience in athletics, business, family life, and personal transformation, Hulse combines practical training with broader reflections on identity, responsibility, virtue, and inner change. His work emphasizes embodied development—strengthening the body, clarifying the mind, and cultivating a more grounded, capable life.
